The Tamil-language film 'Chithha' will be released in Telugu as 'Chinna' on October 6. The Telugu-dubbed version's trailer was unveiled on Saturday. The drama film, directed by SU Arun Kumar, is produced by Siddharth himself.
The 'Bommarillu' actor plays an intense role in this critically acclaimed flick. Nimisha Sajayan plays his love interest, while Sahasra Shree will be seen as his niece. Anjali Nair will be seen as his sister-in-law.
The film has been lavished with praises by Kollywood film critics. "'Chithha' starts off like one of those slow-burning relationship dramas, but without warning, turns into a heart-stopping thriller," wrote TNIE in its review. "This is easily Siddharth's best performance by far. It is painful to watch him suffer through it all without respite," wrote IE, lauding the leading man.
With music by Dhibu Ninan Thomas, the film's BGM is by Vishal Chandrasekhar. Balaji Subramanyam (cinematography), Suresh A Prasad (editing), CS Balachandar (art direction), and Vinoth Thanigasalam (sound design) have worked on the movie.
