Director Dr. Anil Vishwanath of the Polimera duology fame awaits the theatrical release of 28°C on April 4th. The drama stars Naveen Chandra and Shalini Vadnikatti as a husband-wife duo. Its trailer was released today at an event in Hyderabad.
Aditya Music's Niranjan stated that the movie's songs have garnered a positive reception. He wished the team all the best.
Producer Sai Abhishek said that the project took off in 2018. He declined to release the movie directly on OTT despite offers from streaming platforms. He thanked his Co-Producers for standing by him. He described the movie as a "unique experience" that is best watched in theatres.
Director Dr. Anil Vishwanath said that 28°C will always continue to be incredibly special to him. "When an unexpected problem arises between the lead pair, their journey to overcome it is arresting," the director said, highlighting the drama in the final twenty minutes of the film. He thanked the sincere support extended to him by actor Naveen Chandra. He shared an update about Polimera 3, saying that the big-scale project will commence its shoot in the second half of this year.
Actor Naveen Chandra, whose stature has only grown since he listened to the story of the movie seven years back, emphasized that the movie has got thrilling elements. He spoke of the producer's firm resolve and the director's focus in ensuring that the movie releases only in theatres. "I found that concept thrilling. I am glad that Vamsi Nandipati is releasing this film. Our songs and the trailer have been getting a fantastic response. We believe the audience will always appreciate a good film," the Aravindha Sametha and Nenu Local actor stated.
