Hari Hara Veera Mallu, starring Pawan Kalyan as an outlaw who lays his hands on the Koh-i-Noor diamond during the Mughal era, will head to theatres on May 9th. Mega Surya Production announced the new release date today, on the occasion of Holi.

"The battle is set, and the fight for JUSTICE and DHARMA will be unstoppable! Hari Hara Veera Mallu charges into battle at breakneck speed, and NOTHING will alter the hunt this time (sic)," the makers wrote, putting out the release date poster on which Power Star is seen charging ahead atop a horse.

Two songs (Maata Vinali, Kollagottinadhiro) have been released already. Recently, a schedule in which Sathyaraj and Easwari Rao participated was canned. Bobby Deol plays Aurangazeb, while actress Nidhhi Agerwal plays a danseuse. Anupam Kher and Jisshu Sengupta have major parts, while Anasuya Bharadwaj and Pujitha Ponnada will be seen in a song.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu, whose music is by MM Keeravani, is directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and Jyothi Krishna. The period adventure action drama has cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa.
