Mythri Movie Distributors, who recently released the box office hit Dragon and GV Prakash Kumar's Kingston, have acquired the Nizam theatrical release rights to Artiste. The bona fide psycho thriller heads to theatres on March 21st. With the backing of Mythri, the film is going to enjoy a prominent release.
The story of the film, directed by Ratan Rishi, is laced with an emotional journey. Starring Santosh Kalwacherla, Krisheka Patel, Sneha Murali, Tagubothu Ramesh and others, this one is produced by James Watt. Satyam Rajesh, Prabhakar, Vinay Varma, Tanekella Bharani, Soniya Akula, Bhadram feature in different roles.
Hero Santosh, recently talking about Artiste, revealed that the film highlights a socially-relevant issue. He mentioned that the film's screenplay is unique. Director Ratan Rishi said that the story of Artiste carries a lot of emotion. "The final twenty minutes is going to be intense. Don't go by the trailer and conclude that it is a violent movie. The actual movie has less dose of bloodshed. This is a psycho thriller with a lot of suspense built into the story," he remarked recently.
The songs Chusthu Chusthu and O Prema from Artiste were released recently.
