Bhairavam started streaming on ZEE5 on July 18. As per the OTT platform, the action thriller drama has "garnered massive viewership" so far.
Just five days into its streaming, Bhairavam has successfully amassed 100 million streaming minutes. This is nothing but a record-breaking opening for any Telugu film on ZEE5.
Bhairavam, owing to its strong ensemble performances and inspired story, has been able to trend at the top of ZEE5's streaming charts.
Directed by Vijay Kanakamedala, Bhairavam stars Bellamkonda Sreenivas, Nara Rohith, and Manchu Manoj in lead roles. Aditi Shankar, Aanandhi, Divya Pillai, Jayasudha, Vennela Kishore, Ajay, Raja Ravindra, Sharath Lohitashwa and others also feature in it.
What is Bhairavam about? Gajapathi Varma (Manchu Manoj) and Varadha (Nara Rohith) have been all-weather friends despite occasional protests from people close to them. Sreenu (Bellamkonda Sreenivas) was orphaned as a child and is a staunch Gajapathi loyalist. At the same time, he endears himself to Varadha and his dutiful wife (Divya Pillai). When Endowments Minister Vedurupalli wants to grab the village land belonging to the local Varahi Goddess Temple, greed, friction and bloodshed rear their ugly heads.
