Decoding Pawan Kalyan's surprising views on Satyagrahi

AM Rathnam recently revealed what Pawan Kalyan thinks about his dead project, Satyagrahi. The socio-political movie was supposed to be made in 2004 or 2005. AR Rahman was supposed to be its music director. But the project never took off.

“When I recently brought up the topic, Pawan Kalyan garu told me that he would have never entered politics and continued to act in movies, much like Aamir Khan, had he made Satyagrahi,” Rathnam said.

Why Pawan Kalyan feels that way would be interesting to know. It is possible that he had radical scenes and ideas in mind. He probably felt that the anti-establishment movie would have made him a pariah in the field of politics. Pawan Kalyan's early political image was that of an anti-establishment guy, especially during the Praja Rajyam Party days, when he had no alliance with any established political party. The image gave way to a new avatar in 2014, when Pawan Kalyan openly supported the NDA.
