Veteran actress and political functionary Jayasudha recently attended the World Telugu Federation Conference as a guest. The event was held in the presence of Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. As she walked on the stage, Jayasudha greeted all dignitaries one after another except for the CM. She walked past him without joining her hands in the Namaskar gesture.
This has been interpreted by netizens as Jayasudha's way of "insulting" the CM. "Why did she not greet the dignitary? That's not right. She might have political reasons for not respecting him. But when she is in public, she must follow etiquette," a Facebook user wrote.
On the political front, Jayasudha has been associated with the BJP. She joined the saffron party in 2023 in the presence of Kishan Reddy and DK Aruna. She was seen in Thalapathy Vijay's Varisu that year.
