Producer S Naga Vamsi has said that 'Daaku Maharaaj' features an epoch-defining scene. It will be as timeless as an iconic action scene from 'Samara Simha Reddy'. The B Gopal directorial was a trend-setter and was powered by memorable dialogues by Paruchuri Brothers.
"The scene from 'Samara Simha Reddy' was a sequence that redefined what true mass cinema is. Mark my words. There is a sequence in the second half of 'Daaku Maharaaj' that will bring back the same madness and high taking you straight back to those glorious days," Naga Vamsi said.
The film, directed by Bobby Kolli and starring Bobby Deol as the antagonist, will head to theatres on January 12. Its Trailer will be launched later this week at an event in the US. Yesterday, a song titled Dabidi Dabidi was released. Daaku Maharaaj has Shraddha Srinath and Chandini Chowdary in important roles. The music is by SS Thaman.
