"Love is great. But the pain it gives you is unbearable," says Kiran Abbavaram's character in the Teaser of DilRuba. The intense romantic action drama appears to be a tale of the downsides of love. Heartbreak, rejection, loss, and the emotional turmoil that comes with these experiences can be incredibly painful and difficult to endure.
Kiran plays a college-goer who has gotten over a love failure episode. He names two guys who counselled him and helped him heal. As fate would have it, Anjali (Rukshar Dhillon) enters his life and woos him. He reluctantly gives in. Apparently, he is in for another heartbreak.
Director Viswa Karun has dealt with a challenging genre. In the era of action movies, taking on an angry man's romantic endeavours is no joke. It would be wise not to expect a heavy plot in movies of this sort. DilRuba might be a character-driven drama, at the centre of which is a brooding young man who hardly smiles, who is cautious, and who doesn't want to face another setback in life.
Also featuring Nazia Davison, Sam CS's music for the movie comes across as involved. Produced by Ravi, Jojo Jose, Rakesh Reddy, and Saregama, the cinematography is by Viswas Daniel. Edited by Praveen KL, its Art Direction is by Sudheer Macherla. The action choreography is by Pruthvi.
