Pre-Release event held: 'Return of the Dragon has super-hit vibes'

Actor Pradeep Ranganathan of Love Today fame awaits the release of 'Return of the Dragon' on February 21. The film is bankrolled by Kalpathi S. Aghoram, Kalpathi S. Ganesh, and Kalpathi S. Suresh, and is being released in Telugu by Mythri Distributors.

Speaking at the film's pre-release event in Hyderabad, Mythri's Y Ravi Shankar said that he is currently producing a movie headlined by Pradeep Ranganathan. This one will be a Tamil movie by Mythri Movie Makers. "After Love Today became a big hit, I tried to buy its remake rights in Hindi. Due to technical reasons, it couldn't be materialized. Pradeep is always humble and simple. AGS producers are amazing people. It is good that they are focusing just on Telugu and Tamil while producing content movies. The banner is not after large-scale movies on a pan-Indian scale. Return of the Dragon is coming out in Telugu at a time when the audience are hungry for entertainment. This film is going to be a sensation," Ravi Shankar said.

Producer Archana Kapathi said that director Ashwath Marimuthu has molded the film in such a way that it can be watched by the family audience. She also thanked Mythri for releasing Pushpa 2 in Tamil through them.

Actress Kayadu Lohar described the movie as very special to her. She added that Ashwath is an incredible filmmaker. She urged the audience to support the February 21st release.

Producer SKN attended the event as a guest. He expressed confidence in Dragon becoming a blockbuster. "I got to learn the story of the movie from its Telugu version's dialogue writer. I am confident that Dragon will be loved by the audience," SKN said.

Director Ashwath said that actor Pradeep is where he is today because of his dedication to the craft. He thanked AGS for always encouraging him. Dragon has commendable performances by its heroines, Kayadu and Anupara Parameswaran, he suggested. "The Telugu audience always encourage good films from any language," he said.

Pradeep Ranganathan said that the story is about a youngster from humble origins. He suggested that the film is about attainment and aiming for the next stage in life. He thanked the guests who graced the occasion. Pradeep is fond of the Telugu audience.

Guest and director Harish Shankar said that the trailer of Dragon is so good that one can sense a hit. He appreciated Pradeep for doing films at a faster clip.

The event was also attended by Baby maker Sai Rajesh, director Kishore Tirumala and others.

KS Ravikumar, Mysskin, VJ Siddhu, Harshath Khan, Kayadu Lohar, Mariam George, Indhumathy Manigandan, and Thenappan are part of the cast.
