Speaking at a book launch event on Thursday, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu lauded Chiranjeevi for always being inspiring. "Chiranjeevi garu came from a common family with no film background. His resolution to become an actor and the positive mindset he developed helped him reach great heights. After NTR garu shifted into politics, Chiranjeevi garu rose in the film industry by seizing the opportunity and filling the void with extreme hard work and determination," the TDP supremo said on the occasion. The CM lauded Chiru for setting up a blood bank, which has been run successfully over the decades.
On his part, Chiru talked a bit about his humble background. "My passion for acting since childhood helped me discover my path. Despite facing criticism and negative responses, I pursued my dream with focus and dedication. When I revealed my plans of pursuing a career in acting to my parents, they supported my decision but also advised me to pursue another course as a backup," the Vishwambhara actor said.
The Waltair Veerayya actor shared his journey, touching upon the importance of determination and character. He balanced ICWAI studies with film aspirations, ultimately choosing acting. He stressed that success requires hard work, talent, sincerity, and humility, highlighting that integrity defines one's journey. He advised overcoming life's challenges with "Determination," turning setbacks into stepping stones. He cited his early career, where he transformed from supporting roles to stardom through consistent effort. He praised the book "Mindset Shift" for its potential to aid personal development. Chiranjeevi also expressed grief over the Pahalgam terrorist attack, commending support for the victims' families, and observed a moment of silence. The event was attended by various dignitaries.
