It is known that Pawan Kalyan's 7-year-old son Mark Shankar was injured in a fire accident during his school's Summer camp in Singapore, on Tuesday. He is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Singapore. The actor-politician, who traveled to Singapore from Hyderabad last night, went directly to the hospital upon arrival and visited Mark. He was accompanied by Surekha, his sister-in-law and Chiranjeevi's wife.

The boy is recovering steadily at the moment. "Mark sustained burn injuries on his hands and legs and is receiving treatment in the emergency ward due to smoke inhalation affecting his lungs. Pawan Kalyan spoke with the doctors and officials there. The doctors informed him that Mark is recovering and that they are conducting tests to evaluate any potential health complications arising from the smoke affecting his lungs," a statement issued by Pawan Kalyan's team says.

This morning, Mark was shifted from the emergency ward to a regular room. Hospital doctors stated that further tests under medical supervision would be necessary over the next three days.

Speaking to the media before leaving for Singapore, Pawan Kalyan said that the boy sitting next to Mark during the camp sustained third-degree burns.
