The Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce has taken cognizance of sexual harassment complaints against star choreographer Jani Master. The victim is 21. She has been allegedly harassed by Jani since she was 16.
The Sexual Harassment Redressal Panel, which held a presser on Tuesday, comprises KL Damodar Prasad, Jhansi, Tammareddy Bharadwaja, Suchitra Chandrabose, Vivek Kuchibhotla, and Pragati Mahavadi. Its External members are Ramalakshmi Medapati and Kavya Mandava.
Speaking on the occasion, the female choreographer was assured of all help. A Committee has been constituted to address the complaint and conduct an internal inquiry. Meanwhile, Jani Master will be stripped of his position.
"Women can reach out to the TFCC in case of any grievance. There is a complaint box placed outside the Chamber office. The complaints can reach us through post or courier to the below address. The details of the complainant will be confidential:
