The Teaser of 'Game Changer' makes no bones about the character quirks of Ram Charan's Ram, a mercurial youngster who doesn't know how to keep himself in control. He reads a book, he follows some anti-anger hacks, but nothing helps.
When the villains rub him on the wrong side, his rage knows no bounds. He does something sensational because he is unpredictable. SJ Suryah and Srikanth appear to be the main villains, while Naveen Chandra plays a goon. One wonders what Sunil is doing, though.
The teaser is not as terrible as that of 'Indian 2'. But this is not to say that director Shankar is back with a bang. We could just say that he is equipped with a commercial story and that's all there is to it.
The hero's character could also be heavily inspired by some of the angry young men we have seen recently. He could be another Animal, minus the charm and swag. The aesthetics of the songs don't look right at all. Thaman's 'Jaragandi' might have been put to a good use but other songs will be 'Ram ke bharsose'.
The film, produced by Dil Raju and Shirish, will head to theatres on January 10, 2025.
