No theatrical release for RGV's 'Shapadham'

'Shapadham', directed by Ram Gopal Varma, is a sequel to 'Vyooham'. 'Vyooham' was released in theatres on March 1. The film bombed at the box-office. Even loyal YCP activists dozed off in theatres while watching it. As per a trade report, the pro-YCP political drama didn't make a single rupee after accounting for rents and other bills.

RGV is shocked by his film earning a zero share. He has now decided to release 'Shapadham' not in theatres but on AP Fibernet OTT App on a pay-per-view basis.

The few unfortunate people who will be watching 'Shapadham' will have to pay twice to watch it completely. Why? RGV will be putting it out in two parts. Probably, the idea is to save the victims (audience) from an hour of pounding headache assuming the film's running time is two hours. Small mercies!
