Naga Shaurya feels that Kannada actor Darshan, who is accused of torturing a 33-year-old pharmacist named Renuka Swamy to death, is a nice guy. The Telugu actor has put out a message in support of the crest-fallen Sandalwood star.

In an Instagram message today, Shaurya wrote that his heart goes out to the family of the deceased person but it is "incredibly disappointing to see people rushing to conclusions".

Describing Darshan as 'anna', the 'Krishna Vrinda Vihari' actor wrote, "He is not someone who could ever harm anyone, even in his worst nightmare. Those who know him well can attest to his generosity, kind-hearted nature, and unwavering commitment to helping others. He has always gone out of his way to support those in need and has been a pillar of strength for many."

The 'Rangabali' and 'Lakshya' actor has shocked many by coming out in support of Darshan. While Darshan's alleged crime is unproven in court, the strong public opinion against him is based on preliminary findings and some heart-rending pictures that have surfaced.
