In last year's Bollywood blockbuster 'Animal', actor Upendra Limaye was seen in a brief role as Freddy Wilfred Patil, a weapon maker. Director Anil Ravipudi has cast him in his next, headlined by Victory Venkatesh.

Taking to X on Thursday, the 'F2' director thanked filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga for making Upendra, the critically acclaimed performer, known to many more people. "I thank my friend Sandeep for introducing such a talented actor to all of us through 'Animal' and am glad to have him on board for a very important role in my film," the 'F3' and 'Bhagavanth Kesari' maker wrote.

Upendra famously won the National Film Award for his role in the Marathi film 'Jogwa'. Otherwise known mostly for Marathi cinema, he has also done the Hindi films such as 'Chandni Bar', 'Sarkar Raj', 'Contract', 'Traffic Signal' and many more. After 'Animal' last year, he acted in 'Madgaon Express' in Hindi this year.
