'HanuMan' has grossed Rs 250 Cr in theatres. Its success meet was held in Hyderabad on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, director Prasanth Varma said that he plans to do a Koti-centric movie in the franchise. Koti is the name of the friendly, naughty monkey in 'HanuMan'. The animal has been voiced by Ravi Teja.
A film in the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe dedicated to Koti is a risky idea. One hopes the director is aware of what he is up to. It will involve heavy VFX, and should work on the idea and development levels.
Meanwhile, the Nizam distributor of the Sankranthi hit today said that the film has grossed Rs 55 Cr in the territory. The Hindi version is expected to earn Rs 50 Cr nett.
