In 2021, an interesting pan-Indian movie was announced. It was written by 'Baahubali' writer KV Vijayendra Prasad and was titled 'Sita – The Incarnation'. At that time, a banner named Human Being Studio roped in director Alaukik Desai to wield the megaphone. It was to be made in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. Due to unknown reasons, the project has been a non-starter three years later.

In his latest interview, the 'RRR' writer said that the mythological magnum opus will be re-announced soon. A Hollywood studio has come on board. This time, the film might be helmed by someone else, not Desai. Already, the script was made ready years ago in collaboration with dialogue writer Manoj Muntashir.

Speaking to a channel, Vijayendra Prasad said that the film's leading actress will be someone with no image or baggage. "She has to be like a clean slate. She can't be someone who has done glamorous roles in the past," the father of SS Rajamouli said.
