'Bootcut Balraju' is the title of Bigg Boss Telugu season 4 fame Sohel Ryan's next film. Bekkem Venugopal of Lucky Media is bankrolling the film, with Ananya Nagalla of 'Vakeel Saab' fame as the heroine.
Ahead of the film's release on February 2, its trailer launch event was held in Hyderabad. Speaking on the occasion, Sohel expressed disappointment over some established young heroes refusing to even talk with him on the phone when he tried to approach them with the request to promote his movie (digitally or otherwise). "When I called them and introduced myself as Sohel, they snapped the call without a second thought. I urge them to remember that we are all lamps that could be extinguished anytime," Sohel said.
This reminds us of what the makers of 'HanuMan' recently said. Director Prasanth Varma, in an interview hosted by Adivi Sesh, said that none of the big names in the industry (barring Chiranjeevi who attended the pre-release event and Ravi Teja who voiced for a monkey in the film) was willing to support their movie in any manner because three big stars' movies were in the race for Sankranthi.
