Recent media reports in the Tamil media have claimed that Sai Pallavi has "turned" vegetarian because she is playing Sita in Ranbir Kapoor's 'Ramayana' duology. Apparently, Sai Pallavi has always been a vegetarian. The gossip columns about her "turning" vegetarian have irked her. She has warned of legal action.

However, it's high time I react, as this keeps happening consistently and shows no sign of stopping, especially around the time of my films' releases, announcements, or other cherished moments in my career. Next time I see any reputed page, media outlet, or individual carrying a cooked-up, crappy story under the guise of news or gossip, then you will hear from me legally. Period," the 'Fidaa' and 'Love Story' actress wrote.
Sai Pallavi is currently doing Naga Chaitanya's 'Thandel', which will be a February 7th release next year (2025). Most recently, her nuanced performance in 'Amaran' received widespread acclaim.
