The sequel, in North America, grossed $1 million from 683 locations by Thursday night for Day 1. With this, 'Pushpa 2' surpassed Allu Arjun's previous highest figure of $3.6M (achieved by 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo') from premiere collections and Thursday advance sales.
