Nani indirectly hits out at biggies like 'Pushpa 2', 'Devara'

Big-ticket movies, especially pan-Indian Tollywood movies involving heavy VFX works, have been postponed time and again. In recent times, Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa 2: The Rule', Jr NTR's 'Devara', and Prabhas' 'Salaar' are some of the examples.

In his latest interview, Natural Star Nani opined that announcing release dates without a clear-cut release plan is uncalled for. Postponements and last-minute changes upset the schedules of other movies.

"Your lack of clarity creates confusion for others in the industry. A lot of movies wait out expecting big movies at the box office. They either slow down their works or watch on helplessly, only to be told a movie has been postponed," Nani said.

In recent times, sudden postponements of a lot of movies threw smaller movies out of gear. The gossips among distributors and within the Tollywood media further subject small producers to uncertainty. These producers have no access to big producers/stars.

Nani, on his part, is happy that his movie, 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram', chose its release date (August 29) thoughtfully and has since stuck to it successfully.
