Prabhas' hot streak has been something to rave about. After 'Salaar' and 'Kalki 2898 AD', he is back in action in full force. On Saturday, a new pan-Indian movie with him as the hero was launched by Mythri Movie Makers. Producers Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar described the untitled project as a "grand, larger-than-life" one in which Prabhas will be seen as a warrior who emerges from the shadows.
'Sita Ramam' and 'Andala Rakshasi' maker Hanu Raghavapudi has roped in music director Vishal Chandrasekhar. Without revealing much, the makers hinted that the movie's plot involves a historical event (with a spin) that resonates with our emotions. "The story is written by a warrior who aims to bring justice to people of his motherland," they said. This time, expect Hanu to tell his own story as alternative history.
A less-known actress named Imanvi is the female lead.
Mithun Chakraborty and Jaya Prada will be seen in pivotal roles. With cinematography by Sudeep Chatterjee of 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' fame, the film has production design by the Ramakrishna-Monica duo.
