The motion poster of 'Joruga Hushaaruga Shikaaru Podhama' was released at an event in Hyderabad on Wednesday evening. Santosh Shoban is returning to the big screen with this feel-good road film made as a travel rom-com. MR Productions, which has previously made about 100 short films, has joined hands with Story Cat Entertainments and S Originals to bankroll this one.
Starring newcomer Phalguni Khanna as the heroine, the film has been shot in exotic locations across the country. The makers iterated that 'JHSP' is a big-screen movie, thanks to its rich visuals. "It will leave you with a smile as you leave the theatre," Santosh said.
The hero further added, "This is a sweet, simple rom-com. A lot of new technicians and artists have begun their journey with this film. I have had the opportunity to work with some awesome directors/producers in my career. This project offered me another opportunity to do so."
The makers emphasized that the film is a light-hearted, musical fun-ride. "For two hours, you will traverse the whole country. The scripting, pre-production and execution spanning four years is what this film is about," writer-director Subash Chandra said.
The film has Sound Design done by Nagarjuna Thallapalli. Edited by Anil Kumar P, its cinematography is done by Saai Santosh. Produced by Praveen Nambaru, Ravi Chenna and Srujan Yarabolu, the film's music is by Naga Vamshi.
