Ram Charan recalls seeing legendary NTR for the first time!

Ram Charan was one of the guests at the NTR Centenary celebrations held at Hyderabad's Kukatpally on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, the Mega Power Star said that it was NT Rama Rao who raised the stature of Telugu cinema long ago. He iterated that the thespian's contribution to Telugu cinema should never be forgotten.

Calling NTR a towering personality, the 'Game Changer' actor said that he was beyond milestones and benchmarks. The 'RRR' actor added that NTR's talent can only be experienced, not described. Calling the legendary personality a source of inspiration for all time, Charan added, "Every artist, including me who goes to the film set every day, remembers his name. The Great Legend N.T. Rama Rao garu brought respect to Telugu cinema."

The 'Rangasthalam' actor also shared an anecdote. He revealed that he got to meet with NTR once. "I and Purandhareswari garu's son Ritesh used to go to skating classes as kids. One day, Ritesh asked me to visit his grandfather's house. NTR garu was the Chief Minister at that time. I got to see him in his house at that time," Charan said.

Charan's speech has been embraced by the Nandamuri fans as well as Mega fans.
