Allu Arjun's tweet divides fans of two actors

Jr NTR and Ram Charan have been making headlines this week, following the Oscar win for the song 'Naatu Naatu' from their film 'RRR'. On Tuesday, Allu Arjun joined the chorus of congratulatory messages, belatedly wishing the team on their well-deserved victory.

In his post, Bunny happened to describe both the heroes of 'RRR' as "global stars". The description itself is somewhat unsettling, considering that the Nandamuri actor and Mega Power Star have a long way to go before they cement their pan-India superstardom, let alone become global stars.

However, the tweet has also sparked controversy, with some observers noting that Allu Arjun's description of Jr NTR as "the pride of the Telugus" seems to suggest that Ram Charan is somehow less important or less connected to his Telugu heritage. Additionally, while Bunny described Charan as a "lovely brother," he did not offer the same glowing praise that he did for Jr NTR.

While it's possible that Bunny simply chose his words poorly and did not intend to cause offense, the incident has underscored the need for actors and public figures to be thoughtful and careful in their language. Expectedly, this has divided the Internet, with the fans of Charan trolling the Icon Star.

There is a view that the 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' star wanted to sound emotional while congratulating his relative and therefore made to with a mere "lovely brother".
