We have heard of 'Truth is stranger than fiction' but here, truth is scary. The teaser for 'Ravanasura' is out and it has been cut to send chills down the spine of the viewer.
The film will head to the theatres on April 7. Today's teaser shows that Ravi Teja will be seen as a fearsome character who thinks he is indefatigable. The reference to the Ramayana was expected, given the title is after the epic's villain.
The teaser shows a girl's murder to begin with. Murali Sharma and Jayaram get into action, with the latter asking his team to spot clues that point at the killer.
Director Sudheer Varma doesn't reveal anything about Sushanth's character. He is the most important character after the hero. Not seen in the teaser are Sampath Raj, Nitin Mehta of 'Akhanda' fame and Jaya Prakash.
Starring Sriram in a key role, the film has Anu Emmanuel, Megha Akash, Faria Abdullah, Daksha Nagarkar and Poojitha Ponnada. In this film full of character artists, villains and female actors, Satya seems to be the only comedian.
The film is produced by Abhishek Nama and RT Teamworks. With the story and dialogues written by Srikanth Vissa, the film has music by Harshavardhan Rameswar-Bheems Ceciroleo duo.
