'Lal Salaam', produced by Lyca Productions, will feature Superstar Rajinikanth in an extended cameo. He will be seen as a Mumbai-based don named Moideen Bhai. The film, directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth, stars Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in lead roles.
The news is that the 'Jailer' actor has completed shooting for his portions in the late-2023 release. In a statement, his daughter, who is helming the project, described working with her legendary father as a miracle. She indicated that it was a magical experience to team up with her 'appa'.
Rajini will be sharing screen space with cricketing legend Kapil Devi in a scene. The film also features Jeevitha Rajasekhar in a role. AR Rahman, who today confirmed that he will be composing music for Ram Charan's 16th movie, is on board. Vishnu Rangasamy is the film's director of photography.
Lyca Productions is currently also making Shankar's 'Indian 2', 'Mission Chapter 1', and Ajith's 'Vidaamuyarchi'. All three will have pan-India releases, so also 'Laal Salaam'.
