Akhil's 'Agent' locks its theatrical release date!

'Agent' has got a new release date. The film is going to head to the theatres on April 28. The mid-Summer release is expected to give Akhil Akkineni a wild hit.

Announcing the date, a glimpse video was released by AK Entertainments. Akhil is seen being tortured by a brawny male who wants to know for which agency he works. He is not RAW but Osama Bin Laden. He also names Hitler and Gadaffi, historical figures who are notorious for wielding power brutally. He then describes himself as a 'wild saale'. He is unhinged, and even when he is bruised and battered, he doesn't bow down!

To be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages, the spy thriller is directed by Surender Reddy. Sakshi Vaidya is its heroine, while Mammootty has a pivotal role.

With music by Hip Hop Tamizha, Agent's story is penned by Vakkantham Vamsi. The film has cinematography by Rasool Ellore and editing by Naveen Nooli.
