Vijay Deverakonda says Chiranjeevi should meet 'right director'

Vijay Deverakonda was in Chennai on Monday to promote 'Kushi'. On the occasion, he was asked by a scribe to comment about the colossal dud called 'Bholaa Shankar'.

The 'Arjun Reddy' actor, true to his style, bypassed the question and spoke about the larger aura that the Megastar carries. "Chiru sir is beyond hits and flops. Rajinikanth sir might have delivered six flops in a row. But when 'Jailer' grosses Rs 500 Cr, we just have to shut up and watch. Chiru sir changed the way dances and fights started to be staged in Telugu cinema. Such an actor is beyond hits and flops," Vijay said.

In saying so, the 'Geetha Govindam' actor made an interesting observation. He added that Chiranjeevi just needs to meet the right director to create the required energy at the box office. Vijay surely knows that Chiru blundered by allying with Meher Ramesh.

For that matter, Vijay, too, needs to avoid teaming up with the likes of Puri Jagannadh. 'Liger' was a bitter lesson. No wonder 'Jana Gana Mana' was wisely shelved.
