On Tuesday evening, a rumour went out that 'Nayak', starring Ram Charan and directed by VV Vinayak, would be getting re-released on August 22 (marking Chiranjeevi's birthday). Even a re-release poster was released on social media. Verified handles shared the poster. Many Mega fans themselves expressed total surprise. They almost trolled the movie, saying that it is not a classic or a musical blockbuster to warrant a re-release.
The news is that the movie's re-release has been called off. Confirming the same, Charan's close aide Siva Cherry took to Twitter and wrote that the re-release won't be happening. The original plan didn't come from the Mega camp.
The team of the 'Game Changer' actor said that they had no knowledge of Nayak's special shows being planned at first. "We don't know any kind of information about this. Currently, we are just working and focusing on BOSS MEGA STAR," Siva Cherry wrote.
