'Ram Setu', starring Akshay Kumar in the role of an archaeologist who becomes a believer in the Ramayana's legacy, hit the cinemas the other day. The film has got Jayasri Rachakonda in the role of a Supreme Court judge.

Talking about her experience of working on the film, Jayasri says that she had a week's shoot to participate. Despite the fact that she features in a few pivotal courtroom moments, Jayasri nurtured the fear that most of her scenes/shots/frames might be edited out for some reason.

After the movie's release, however, she is mighty relieved that she has been noticed. "I am completely overwhelmed with the compliments. My well-wishers, friends and family are sharing screenshots from the film," the lawyer-turned-artist Jayasri says.

Recently seen in Nikhil Siddhartha's blockbuster 'Karthikeya 2', Jayasri is well-versed in both Hindi and Telugu. 'Legally Veer', 'Mr. Work From Home', 'Manasuna Vunnadhi Cheppalanunnadhi', 'Breaking News', and 'Doctor Rehana' are among Jayasri's upcoming movies in different languages. Besides, she is also associated with a few ad campaigns. The budding artist has also acted in 'Mallesham', 'Thank You Brother', 'Thimmarusu' and 'Virgin Story' in Telugu.
