'Jathi Ratnalu' director wants to follow Maruthi's template

Director Maruthi's heroes have been known for one or another 'defect'. 'Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy' and 'Mahanubhavudu' come to mind. In the former, Nani's character suffered from short-term memory loss. In the latter, Sharwanand had OCD.

Looks like 'Jathi Ratnalu' director Anudeep KV wants to follow this template for a comedy entertainer. In his latest interview, the young filmmaker said that he has read a book written by Elaine N Aron. Titled 'Highly Sensitive Person', which talks about some personality types who are either mentally or physically too sensitive. If you are physically sensitive, you might be allergic to certain foods more than others.

Anudeep said that he is a highly sensitive person in some instances. "I have a stronger sense of smell, pronounced sensitivity to bright light, etc," he said. "HSP people are also susceptible to health issues like migraine, ongoing research says. A written test I took some years ago proved that I am HSP. I stay away from foods like sugar, Maida, etc. My idea is to make a film based on the HSP personality someday. It could be a female-centric film where the heroine treads too cautiously. I am researching it," he added.
