Survival thriller 'Dongalunnaru Jagratha' wraps up shoot

Sri Simha Koduri, the younger son of MM Keeravani, is gearing up for the theatrical release of 'Dongalunnaru Jagratha'. Producers D Suresh Babu and Sunitha Tati have announced that Tollywood's first survival thriller has completed its shoot.

Directed by Satish Tripura, the film has 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' villain Samuthirakani in a key role. The debutant director got a custom-made car designed exclusively for the thriller.

In a video released today, we see extensive technical work being done as part of pre-production works. Towards the end, the male protagonist makes a slow-mo entry. In all, 342 hours of the shoot were carried out. As many as 72 members worked on the film that was shot in a single location.

What is the film about? "After a reckless robbery goes haywire, a small-time thief finds himself trapped. He is in a bind as a series of twists and turns change his life forever. Everything is unanticipated," the makers said.

Preethi Asrani of 'Seetimaarr' fame is its heroine. With music by Kaala Bhairava and cinematography by Yeshwanth C, the film's release date will be announced soon. Gandhi Nadikudikar and Garry BH have taken care of art direction and editing, respectively.
