'Clap' will connect with one and all: Aadhi Pinisetty

Aadhi Pinisetty-starrer 'Clap' streams on SonyLiv from today (March 11). Speaking at an event held in Hyderabad, the team of the film described the bilingual sports drama as a wholesome package.

"Our film doesn't offer usual comedy, dances and fights. But the audience will surely connect with its elements," the 'Rangasthalam' actor, the film's hero, today said. Starring also Aakanksha Singh, Prakash Raj and Nassar, the film is produced by Ramanjaneyulu Javvaji, M Rajasekhar Reddy.

Aadhi said that the journey of 'Clap' started two and a half years ago. "Due to the pandemic, its release has been delayed. The producers have been very supportive. SonyLiv is premiering the movie. I listened to the story as an audience member. It's a film with commercial elements," he added.

Besides the male lead, Aakanksha too has played a sportsperson. "The director has done a sincere job. The technicians, too, have given their best," Aadhi added.

Maestro Ilaiyaraaja's RR is going to be a highlight, the actor said.

The producers said that they decided to bankroll the movie because they felt it's a honest and real. They lauded the whole team of cast and crew.
