Sai Pallavi makes controversial remarks, hurts Hindu Netizens

Sai Pallavi is busy promoting 'Virata Parvam', which is slated to hit the cinemas on June 17. In an interview to a YouTube channel, the 'Fidaa' and 'Love Story' actress has commented on the ethnic cleansing of Hindus in Kashmir (in the early 1990s) and the lynching of cow-smugglers in recent times.

Saying that she is ideologically neutral, the acclaimed actress opined, "The film 'Kashmir Files' shows how Kashmiri Pandits were killed. Recently, there was an incident of a person being killed for carrying a cow because he was suspected to be a Muslim. After killing the person, the attackers raised 'Jai Shri Ram' slogans. Where is the difference between what happened in Kashmir and what happened recently?"

Sai Pallavi has put a genocide and an isolated incident in the same basket. Hindu Netizens are trolling her, saying that she was trying to do monkey-balancing in the interview. Neutral observers are arguing that celebs should start doing some basic research before talking about sensitive issues recklessly.
