'Sita Ramam': 'Kaanunna Kalyanam' takes back to a bygone era!

"A dream that takes you back to yesteryears," Vyjayanthi Movies today said, releasing the melody 'Kaanunna Kalyanam' from 'Sita Ramam'. Dulquer Salmaan's Lieutenant Ram, the lover boy, is in a great mood ahead of his wedding with Sita Mahalakshmi (Mrunal Thakur). They dance in the backdrop of exquisite locations, mouthing Sirivennela's simple and evocative lines.

The Hanu Raghavapudi-directed, to be released in theatres on August 5, has music by Vishal Chandrasekhar. For the current song, he has roped in Anurag Kulkarni of 'Ramuloo Ramulaa' fame to deliver an SPB-like vocal impact. Sinduri S plays along with her mellifluous vocals. The song was released at a women's college and the response was overwhelming, if the visuals from the event are anything to go by.

'Sita Ramam', co-starring Sumanth as a brigadier, Gautham Menon as a Major, and Tharun Bhascker in a supporting role, has Rashmika Mandanna in a special role.
