Sumanth's upcoming movie 'Malli Modalaindi' will stream on ZEE5 from February 11. Its pre-release event was held in Hyderabad in the presence of several guests. The coming-of-age film tells the story of a husband who applies for divorce. He falls in love with his lawyer.
Lloyd Xavier of ZEE5 requested the audience to watch the movie on February 11 by subscribing to the OTT platform.
Annapurnamma, who has a key role in the relationship drama, spoke of the thinking of today's generation when it comes to dealing with marital issues.
Producer Rajasekhar Reddy said that director Keerthi Kumar's narration is a highlight. Besides the performances, Anup Rubens' music will be a highlight.
The director said that the film has been made without compromising on quality. He thanked the actors, especially Sumanth, Annapurnamma, Posani Krishna Murali and Vennela Kishore. The film was shot in 29 days.
Producer Bunny Vasu wished the team all the best and said that it's not an easy thing to tell a content-driven story that is sans action scenes, etc. He described 'Malli Modalaindi' as a light-hearted and feel-good subject.
Sumanth said that the element of marriage and divorce is what attracted him to the script. He is totally in love with the song 'Alone Alone', sung by Sid Sriram.
The event was also attended by Vishwak Sen, Adivi Sesh, Nikhil Siddhartha and others.
