'Cobra' is heading to theatres on Aug 31 in Telugu and Tamil. The action thriller, directed by R Ajay Gnanamuthu, was today promoted by the core team in Hyderabad.

Speaking on the occasion, actor Vikram, who plays a Mathematics teacher in the film, spoke of the challenges he faced while filming for the actioner.

"The Telugu audience have always loved my movies. They like me in performance-oriented roles. They remember me for 'Aparichitudu' the most. In 'Cobra', I have sported multiple looks. It's an emotional character. It has got a universal language. Each of the get-ups comes with a unique body language. It took me a lot of thinking and preparation. 'Cobra' is a sci-fi actioner, psychological thriller and more. There are three heroines in the movie. When we roped Srinidhi Shetty in, 'KGF' had just released. She is now a star. She was a new face when we approached her. I and her character have a romantic equation in the film. Mrinalini Ravi has got another interesting character. There are fights, songs and a lot of other ingredients in the movie. And they are anchored to an emotional core," Vikram said.

During the QnA session, Vikram was asked about his health. In July, he was hospitalized and was in the ICU for five days. The actor said that he is doing perfectly now.

To the question about the boycott movement ailing Bollywood, Vikram answered, "I know 'boy' and 'cot'. I don't know what is 'boycott'." The actor smartly evaded the controversial question.
