Was Mahesh Babu ever supposed to play Siddha in 'Acharya'? The character came to be eventually essayed by Ram Charan. In his latest interview, Charan revealed that some other actors were mooted for the powerful character before he came on board.
When a scribe asked Mega Power Star if Mahesh was one of the actors who was under consideration, Charan gave an evasive reply. "I really don't know, as I was too busy doing 'RRR' at that time," the 'Rangasthalam' actor answered.
Frankly, 'RRR' was not on the floors when all this transpired in 2020. Mahesh's name cropped up during the first wave of the pandemic.
It seems Charan gave an evasive reply to avoid any controversies.
'Acharya' will hit the cinemas on April 29. Mahesh Babu has lent his voice as a narrator.
