With the success of 'Pushpa: The Rise' last year and 'RRR' and 'KGF 2' this year, the Southern film industry is causing Bollywood a huge amount of embarrassment. Bollywood audience members are trolling the Hindi film industry for failing to understand the tastes of the audience. In short, for not making mass/masala movies.
Bollywood, on its part, is out to avenge the insult. In 2023, it has lined up six big-ticket projects that can potentially reverse the negative sentiment plaguing Bollywood. Here we bring you the list of those films.
Shah Rukh Khan-starrer 'Pathaan' is one of the biggest releases of the year. Directed by Siddharth Anand, this one co-stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. It releases on January 25.
'Tiger 3', starring Salman Khan in the lead, is directed by Maneesh Sharma. It co-stars Katrina Kaif as the heroine. It releases on April 21.
'Animal' is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga of 'Arjun Reddy' fame. It stars Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead. It releases on August 11.
'Fighter' stars Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone. It is touted to be India's first-ever aerial action genre film. Directed by Siddharth Anand, it releases on 28 September 2023.
On December 22 next year, two films will clash. SRK's 'Dunki' is directed by Rajkumar Hirani.
On the same date, Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff will make a splash with 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' at the box office.
There is also 'Adipurush' (release on January 12), but since Prabhas is its hero, Bollywood fans are not counting it.
