'Rana Naidu' is the title of an action thriller for which Venkatesh and Rana Daggubati have joined hands. An adaptation of the American show ‘Ray Donovan’, it is going to be streamed on Netflix.
Touted to be an action-packed story about the lives of the rich and famous, the show is produced by Locomotive Global Inc. What is its premise? "The drama follows the life of Rana Naidu, the go-to guy for everyone in Bollywood when they have a problem," showrunner Karan Anshuman said.
Directed by the Anshuman-Suparn Verma duo, it is yet to get a streaming date. "I am extremely happy to be with a crew and a platform that knows this the best. It will be challenging and new and definitely going to be fun. Looking forward to filming soon," the 'Virata Parvam' star said.
As for the 'Narappa' actor, he said that he is a huge fan of Ray Donovan and the entire team of 'Rana Naidu' is pulling in all the stops to ensure they do justice to the material.
The makers added that 'Rana Naidu' is going to be an extraordinary and thrilling show for its viewers. The American original has been described as a record-breaking international show.
