Actor Siddharth trolled after tweets on Indian cricket

'Maha Samudram' actor Siddharth has come in for severe trolling after he said that he is badly missing the old Indian cricket. In his tweet, the 'Bommarillu' star suggested that hero-worshipping has taken the class out of cricket.

"You don't realise you're old till you rely on your age to miss things. I miss the days of Indian Cricket before IPL, Dhoni and Kohli. This new generation of demi god worship mixed with administrative and PR power is so not "cricket" as we grew up worshipping it. Toxicity reigns," Sid, known for being an outspoken critic of a lot of things, tweeted.

He also revealed that his favourite cricketer was Rahul Dravid back in the 1990s.

Several Netizens said that an actor should be the last one to lament about PR power. A user said that Sachin Tendulkar was seen as a demi-god. "IPL has revolutionized cricket," a Twitter user opined.
