With the second wave of the coronavirus being fierce, Chiranjeevi has issued a statement in public interest. The actor asked people not to be reckless.
Speaking on the occasion, Chiranjeevi said, "The second wave is so severe. We are seeing a lot of people losing their lives. And the recovery pace is slow. It's so heart-rending to watch people die. With no other option, a lockdown has been imposed in the Telugu States. Please don't lower your guard. Don't step outside your homes without a reason. Mask up while shopping for essentials. If possible, opt for the double mask."
The 'Acharya' actor added, "Even during the lockdown, the vaccination process is very much on. Register yourself and book your slot. After vaccination, if you happen to contract the virus, its intensity will be very less. More than the virus, it's our paranoia that is dangerous. As soon as coronavirus infection is confirmed, isolate yourself."
The Megastar also spoke of the development of antibodies in the body after an infection.
