Netflix's Baahubali: Before The Beginning has been in the news for a long time now. After scrapping the old version directed by Praveen Sattaru and Deva Katta, the popular OTT giant Netflix has allotted a whopping amount to make the same series with a different team.
Now, the latest update is that Lady Superstar Nayanthara will make her digital debut with Netflix's Baahubali: Before The Beginning. As per reports, the star actress has been roped in to play one of the lead roles in the web series.
The web series, which will stream on Netflix, will tell the journey of Sivagami's rise to power in the Mahishmati kingdom. It will be a prequel to Rajamouli's Baahubali series, and it will have nine episodes. The web series will go on floors by September 2021.
