'GST', which stands for 'God Saithan Technology', is directed by Komari Janakiram. Produced by Komari Janayya Naidu, the film's first look was today released in the hands of an undertaker (meaning 'Kaatikapari' in Telugu). The undertaker in question is Dr. Patta Pagalu Venkat Rao, who is a recipient of the Limca Book Of National Records 2011.

Venkat Rao, who owns a finance company, is renowned for his cremation services. He said, "I am happy to release the first look of the movie. The movie has nothing to do with the GST tax."

The makers hinted that the film touches upon the issue of superstitions and how even educated people hold a number of unscientific beliefs. The makers referred to the Madanapalle incident in which the parents killed their own children in the name of an occult ritual.

Director Janaki Ram said, "We thank Venkat Rao garu for doing the honours today. I know of an incident that happened in Tamil Nadu. When an astrologer told a man that his son is the root cause of his bad luck, the father cruelly eliminated his own son. In Gudur, a woman said that she will end the coronavirus if a temple is built for her.

Starring Anand Krishna, Ashok, Venkat, Nandu and others, the film has Swathi Mandal, anchor Indhu, Pooja Suhasini, Vani, and others in other roles. Swapna, Nagayya, Govind, Nalli Sudarshan, and others are part of the cast. Editing is by Sunil Maharana. Cinematography is by D Yadagiri. Music is by UV Niranjan.
