'Nishabdham' is all set to stream on Amazon Prime Video from October 2. Directed by Hemanth Madhukar, the film will premiere in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam from the said date. It's a direct OTT release that has bypassed theatres.
Written by Kona Venkat, the film is about Sakshi (Anushka), a deaf and mute painter who becomes a witness to a murder in a haunted place. An investigation team, led by Anjali, suspects the role of a young girl in the murder. Curiously, a ghost also becomes a suspect. Will the team get to the bottom of the case? That's the crux.
Starring Madhavan, Michael Madsen, Shalini Pandey, Srinivas Avasarala and others, the film was shot in Telugu and Tamil. Malayalam is a dubbed version.
Shot in Seattle, US, Shaneil Deo's cinematography is touted to be a highlight. Music is by Gopi Sunder.
