'Kathyayini', starring Shree Rapaka of RGV's 'Naked' fame, was launched on Saturday. Paramesh Boggula of Helping Hands Creations will be producing it. Profits for the film will be spent on social activities. Boggula has been into constructing a modern hospital to benefit the people of 60 villages.
Speaking on the occasion, Producers Council's KL Damodar Prasad said, "I have known Shree Rapaka for 10 years. She was a fashion designer, who has been passionate about dancing and acting. 'Naked' has fetched her a good name. 'Kathyayini' will further boost her image."
Director Sagar described Shree as a very talented artist. "The title is catchy," she added. Producer Sudhakar Goud said, "Sai Rajesh is a very good director and writer. We have chosen Shree Rapaka because she suits the story."
The actress said that Sai Rajesh had narrated the story to her three years ago. She appreciated producer Paramesh Boggula for carrying out welfare activities. "I thank RGV garu for giving me a break with 'Naked'," she added.
Director Sai Rajesh said that the film is set in 2020 and it tells three love stories and their consequences. "There is a lot of scope for performance," he added.
