Keerthy Suresh starrer 'Penguin' was released on Amazon Prime Video recently and Cyrus - the dog character in the movie - has been getting good response. The dog's real name is Maddy and it is the director, Eashvar Karthik's own dog.
Talking about the dog, the director says, "The real name of Cyrus is Maddy. He is my own dog. We know each other's body language well. After failing to find a dog which would be apt for the role of Cyrus I picked Maddy and he did a brilliant job. He never needed too many instructions. He is a natural and one-take artist".
'Penguin', produced by 'Pizza' and 'Petta' director Karthik Subbaraj, is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam in 200+ countries and territories.
